!!! On May 19,2011, we will be migrating users that login using the jmontana and montana userids to BlueZone version 5.2. The new version has the Spell Check and Scratch Pad features. Click here to read the BlueZone 5.2 features document to learn how to enable these features as well the recommended security settings for connecting to the State of Montana mainframe!!!

Authorized users may use the same userid/password combination they used on the old Attachmate Thin Client Server.

The default Web-to-Host session uses ActiveX. To download and install the ActiveX control the end user will need to have administrative rights to their desktop. There is a Java version that does not require the end user to have administrative rights but does require a minimum level of Sun Java 1.4.1. To get the Java version, prefix your userid with the letter "j".

For example, entering userid bob would download the ActiveX launcher.
Entering the userid jbob would download the Java launcher.

If you are a new thin client user and have not been given login info from your agency's network administrator or to report a problem please contact the ITSD Service Desk at 406-444-2000 or 800-628-4917. You may open a service request directly by clicking here.
